The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 215/QD-TTg dated March 1, 2024, approving the national energy development strategy of Vietnam until 2030, with a vision towards 2045.
Strategy for Ensuring Energy Security and Sustainable Development
This strategy aims to ensure national energy security, provide sufficient stable and high-quality energy at reasonable prices to support rapid and sustainable socioeconomic development, while ensuring national defense, security, and enhancing people's quality of life, and contributing to the protection of ecological environment. The ultimate goal is to carry out energy transition to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
